Family Martial Arts…Yours, Ours, Together
Yours
You, like most families, are juggling a lot of things at once…kids, work, school, church and more. You know that martial arts can help promote confidence, discipline, and fitness but you don’t know what changes are coming three years from now let alone three months from now. Your schedule and your budget need to be flexible.
That’s why we don’t push contracts for our karate classes…we don’t even offer them. That’s why we keep our membership dues low. That’s why we work with you during the tough times so that you can keep up your karate training no mater what life throws at you.
Ours
Living Sword Karate is a family business in every sense. Not only are we a husband and wife teaching team but our son has been taking karate with us since he was three and is super excited to have started Judo and Jiu-Jitsu. Our daughter just got started in the preschool karate program and can’t wait until she can start rolling in the Jiu-Jitsu class with big brother and you will even see her sneak out on the mat to try an armbar.
Karate is a passion for us and it is our heartfelt desire to share our family’s passion with you.
Together
When we work together with our members and with the churches that host our program we become more than just a karate school. Sure, Living Sword Karate teaches excellent martial arts classes but it is more important to have a lasting impact on our community.
We teamed up with our members and Covenant United Methodist Church to raise money for tumbling mats that are used in their community fitness programs, their preschool/PDO, and by local sports and cheer programs. We helped raise money for Advent Presbyterian Church’s youth scholarships. We stepped up for Covenant again when they needed an automated external defibrillator (AEDs) and raised the funds they needed and even negotiated a reduced price with the supplier so they could get an extra one with the money we helped raise.
See what a difference martial arts can make for you
